Carla Zepeda, Emergency Veterinarian

I was born in San Antonio, Chile but I grew up in Miami, FL after moving from Ensenada, Mexico when I was 8 years old. My fiancee and I have been together since our senior year of high-school and have 3 fur and feathered children - Rio our 1 year old rescue mutt, Ace the cockatiel, and Gin the White-Bellied Caique. I graduated with my Veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences in sunny Southern California.

I enjoy spending time with family at home, occasional binge watching shows on Netflix, and crochet projects like cardigans and scarfs.

I chose to work with VCA-Knowles Snapper Creek Animal Hospital for the amazing team I had met when I was a student that encouraged personal growth along with the experience of diverse cases seen both in the day and at night. I am thrilled to be able to call them family as I continue growing as a doctor!
