Hannah brings energy, curiosity, and a love of learning to her role as Hospital Manager, overseeing a team of 21 talented individuals, including five veterinarians. Her journey into veterinary medicine began at an emergency facility. She's enjoyed every opportunity to tackle new challenges, help pets, and support her team along the way.
Hannah especially loves cats, though she enjoys helping dogs as well. She enjoys borrowing little dogs from the boarding facility. Her favorite moments at work include making friends with "spicy" cats, assisting with emergency and urgent care cases, and partnering with pets to gain their cooperation in whatever treatment or procedure is needed. She also thrives on seeing her team collaborate, learn, and share laughter during a busy day.
Emergency and urgent care are her specialties, but some of her most rewarding experiences come from winning over scared or angry pets and mentoring her team to grow their skills. At home, Hannah shares her life with her husband, and their two dogs—Chief, a Great Pyrenees mix who resembles a giant Golden Retriever, and Cloud, a playful pittie—as well as three cats: Onyx, Chelona and Gabby.
Outside of the hospital, Hannah is a hands-on creator and nature lover. She enjoys gardening, sourdough baking, home canning, crocheting, knitting, and camping and canoeing in the beautiful Ozark National Scenic Riverways. If she could be any animal for a day, she'd be a river mink, imagining a life spent swimming, exploring, and catching fish and crawdads. During busy shifts, she enjoys savory snacks like charcuterie boards, meat, cheese and veggie trays, and prefers coffee or sweet tea to keep her going. Her favorite color is blue, reflecting her calm, approachable and grounded personality.
