Dr. Valerie Sinclair grew up in Eastern Washington where her love of animals began early in life. Her childhood was spent caring for a variety of animals from cats and dogs to sheep, poultry and rabbits. She received her DVM from Washington State University in 2007 and has practiced previously in both Colorado and Oregon. Dr. Sinclair joined Peone Pines as Medical Director in December 2013. Her special interests include dentistry, small animal internal medicine, and exotic animal medicine (both scaled and furry). In her free time, Dr. Sinclair enjoys spending time with her husband and son doing anything outdoors including fishing, hiking, camping, and downhill skiing. They share a home with a dog, 2 cats, and a tank of tropical fish.
