Lyndsi was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She studied and graduated from Cedar Valley Veterinary Tech College in May 2020. She has always wanted to do what she can to help sick and/or mistreated animals and thus found herself working in the veterinary field. She's been working at VCA Preston Park since October 2020.
As a veterinary assistant, Lyndsi takes a particular interest in helping patients through recovery processes. She loves to see them transform from the time they first come in to when they've healed. One of her favorite parts of her job is getting to see all the adorable kittens that come through, especially because she hopes to adopt one of her own someday soon. Lyndsi believes all our clients ought to know that there's much more going on within the hospital than they may think. Above all, we are always doing our best to help each patient and their family as best we can.
If Lyndsi were an animal, she thinks she'd either be a house cat or a sea turtle. She said it would be because she likes the calmness they bring. She added that if she were a house cat, she also just loved the idea of carrying a stress-free life. No responsibilities, just existing happily. The best piece of advice Lyndsi has heard is that "It's better to be safe than sorry," and in her free time, she loves to travel to see wildlife and historical places.
