Jessica began her journey with VCA Smoketown in 2013 as a kennel assistant and quickly discovered her passion for veterinary medicine. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh in 2016 and successfully passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE), officially stepping into her role as a credentialed veterinary technician the same year.
In addition to her daily responsibilities, Jessica serves as our controlled drug manager, where she ensures that all controlled substances are safely and accurately documented. Her attention to detail and commitment to safety play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of care.
Jessica is also a valued member of Dr. Jaeger's orthopedic and advanced surgery team, where her skills and experience contribute to the exceptional patient outcomes.
Outside of the hospital, Jessica enjoys spending quality time with her family and loves being outdoors - whether its swimming, hiking or boating.
