Originally from Pittsburgh, Madi began her career in veterinary medicine in 2016 while attending YTI Career Institute of York, where she earned her associate's degree in Specialized Technology. She completed her externship at VCA Delmarva Animal Hospital in Berlin, Maryland, and continued working there after graduation. During this time, she also gained unique experience at Barn Hill Preserve in Fenwick Island, Delaware, where she worked onsite and as a mobile educator, delivering wildlife demonstrations to schools throughout the Northeast.
In 2021, Madi joined the team at VCA White Rose Animal Hospital in York, PA, and became a valued member of the VCA Smoketown Animal Hospital family in November 2023.
Outside of work, Madi shares her home with a Brittany Spaniel, a Black Lab, two orange cats, and a bearded dragon. She enjoys traveling to the Delaware beaches with friends and family, reading, and spending time with her animals.
"I've had a passion for animals and wildlife from a very young age," Madi says. "I couldn't see myself in any other career path."
