Manuela's been a part of the VCA Smoketown family since 2016. She started her journey as a veterinary technician after earning her associate's degree in veterinary science from Johnson College. Originally from Medellin, Colombia, Manuela has always had a deep love for animals and a passion for helping them heal. She is especially drawn to surgical care and finds it rewarding to support patients through recovery.
Outside of work, Manuela enjoys spending time with her husband, Nate, and their three pets: two cats, Chimchim and Pepita, and a dog, Indy. She also creates resin art and likes participating in shows across Pennsylvania.
