Originally from Indiana, Dr. Zhao earned her DVM degree from the University of Minnesota in 2024. Following graduation, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship here at VCA South Shore (Weymouth) Animal Hospital. After the completion of her internship, Dr. Zhao accepted a position as a member of our Emergency & Critical Care team.
Dr. Zhao's special interests include the evaluation and treatment of foreign body cases and FAST (Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma) scanning.
