Dr. Fuchter is a 2020 graduate of the University of Sydney School of Veterinary Science in Australia. After graduation, she completed a one-year rotating internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialists and Pet Emergency in Brisbane, followed by a second rotating internship at the Small Animal Specialist Hospital in Sydney. In 2023, she began an ACVECC-approved residency in emergency and critical care at the Small Animal Specialist Hospital. Upon finishing her residency, Dr. Fuchter joined the staff at VCA South Shore (Weymouth) Animal Hospital as part of the Emergency and Critical Care team in 2026.
Dr. Fuchter has a special interest in mechanical ventilation, immune-mediated disease and critical post-operative patients.
