Dr. Jade Peralta is originally from the Bay Area and is excited to return and join BAVS in our Internal Medicine department. She attended UC Davis for both undergrad and veterinary school, receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She completed an internship at VCA West Los Angeles before moving to Colorado State University to complete her small animal internal medicine residency, as well as her master's degree. Her professional interests include immune-mediated and gastrointestinal diseases, and she is a big proponent of owners being active members of the team to come up with tailored plans for each and every pet. Outside of work, Dr. Peralta likes to experiment with cooking, and watch scary films. She enjoys comedy clubs, board games, the orchestra and trying new restaurants with friends and family, and of course cuddling on the couch watching movies together with the family dog, Chewy.
