Christi Leong, Medical Director
Dr. Christi Leong is originally from Sacramento, CA and attended UC Berkeley, obtaining a BS in Conservation and Resource Studies. She competed on the Cal Triathlon Team as an undergraduate which led to her moving to Boulder, CO to work for the World Triathlon Corporation (Ironman Triathlon), traveling to events within the merchandise division and guiding product development for several years.
Along the way, she adopted Scout, a spunky Boxer mix from the Boulder Humane Society whose multiple orthopedic surgeries inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, graduating from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Dr. Leong completed a 1-year rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center, and more recently was practicing at a small animal general practice hospital in Spokane, WA. She has special interests in ophthalmology, surgery, and teaching.
Dr. Leong is thrilled to return to Colorado after a brief time away from the beautiful sunshine. Outside of work, she enjoys Crossfit, weightlifting, hiking with Scout, and spending time with her family and friends.
