Liz wanted to work with animals since childhood and began as a veterinary assistant in high school. Since then she has worked as a receptionist, licensed veterinary technician, and technician manager. She received a BS in animal science from Virginia Tech and an associate's degree in veterinary technology from Cedar Valley College. She has been an LVT for about 12 years and enjoys all aspects of general practice and emergency care. Liz lives in Centreville with her husband, two boys, and two cats which keep her very happily busy. She enjoys hiking, horseback riding, gardening, and anything outdoors with the kids.
