I was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and I received my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State in 1994. I also went to Broward College and trained to be a paramedic in 2013. I have been with VCA since 2002. I started at the VCA Coral Springs Pet Resort and Medical Center in August of 2017.

I have always had an intense interest in medicine since I was a child. I was fascinated with the beautiful harmony of all the systems that make up the body and the disease processes that can disturb that harmony. When I was young, I decided to take that interest in medicine and be an advocate for the animals who couldn't speak their pains and illnesses to us but suffered from them the same as humans do. It is so rewarding to see an animal who was in pain return to health and rejoin his family.
