I was born and raised in northern New Jersey, until I moved down to South Florida for my undergraduate studies. I received my Bachelors' degree in Biology from Nova Southeastern University, while also starting my career in veterinary medicine as a veterinary technician. I then attended the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine where I obtained my doctorate degree with a certificate in Veterinary Business Management and Clinical Small Animal Dentistry. My special interests in veterinary medicine include ophthalmology, surgery, and dentistry.

My husband, Tony, and I have two dogs, our chihuahua, Leia, and our lab mix, Rey. My favorite place to be during my free time is on a beach somewhere either snorkeling or diving. I also enjoy doing other outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking, and taking my dogs on a hike.
