Dr. Christina Winter joined VCA Flannery Animal Hospital in 2001 from a practice serving both small and large animals. She received her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University. Dr. Winter has a special interest in soft tissue ultrasound and ultrasound guided biopsies. She enjoys performing many types of surgeries from traditional soft tissue to laparoscopic spays and biopsies. Dr. Winter is a skilled diagnostician with a special interest in internal medicine, including endocrinology. She is member of the American Animal Hospital Association, Hudson Valley Veterinary Medical Society, NYS Veterinary Medical Society, American Veterinary Medical Association, and American Association of Feline Practitioners. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, and two sons, Hayden and Kyle. Dr. Winter’s hobbies include snowboarding and hiking.
