Dr. Laney Blake has lived in Dallas, TX, all her life. In fact, she grew up taking her own animals to Lovers Lane Animal Hospital and shadowed Dr. Martin and Dr Jiranek throughout her time in college and veterinary school. She completed her undergrad at Auburn University and graduated with a Bachelor's in Animal Science in 2019. That same year, she started at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.

Dr. Blake decided to become a veterinarian because of the unique ability to make a difference not only in an animal's life, but in their family's life as well. Dr. Blake's interests include neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology, and acupuncture. When she is not taking care of pets here at the hospital, she is spending time with her two furry friends, Dakota (charcoal Labrador) and her cat, Trixie.
