Candace has been a Credentialed Veterinary Technician with VCA Northside since 2016. Being born and raised on a dairy farm created Candace's love for animals and veterinary medicine at a very young age. She always knew she wanted a career as a veterinary technician. Candace attended the NCC/LCCC Veterinary Technician Program where she earned her college degree in 2016.
In her spare time, she enjoys camping with her husband, family, and friends. She owns two fur babies who are the highlight of her life—Mopsy, a cockapoo, who is the princess of the family; and Moose, a Bernese Mountain Dog, who is a 130-pound goof who thinks he's a lap dog. Candace also enjoys hiking with her dogs, fishing, and in general being outdoors as much as possible.
"A hundred years from now, it will not matter the sort of house I lived in, what my bank account looked like or the car I drove…but the world may be different because I was important in the life of the animals and the creatures on this earth."
