Dr. Jacqueline Kanaskie received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology with an emphasis in Genetics and Developmental Biology from the Pennsylvania State University in 2018. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Degree at Iowa State University in 2022. Dr. Kanaskie is especially interested in exotic companion animal medicine, dermatology, and surgery. What Dr. Kanaskie loves most about working in veterinary medicine is being able to care for her patients and educate others about animals.

Dr. Kanaskie was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA. In recent years, you may have seen here here at Northside working as a veterinary assistant. In her spare time, she enjoys everything about being outdoors. Running and hiking with her dog are two of her favorite outdoor activities. She also loves to travel and go to the beach. Dr. Kanaskie has two pets of her own, "Winnie," a 10 year old Holland Lop Rabbit, and "Cleo," a 3.5 year old Pit Bull Mix.
