Veterinary School: University of Oklahoma

Dr. Russell received her undergrad degree in Animal Science from the University of Wyoming and then went on to obtain her veterinary degree from the University of Oklahoma. Upon graduation, she joined the team at VCA Northside. Some of Dr. Russell's favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are working up internal medicine cases, surgery, and wellness care.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Russell enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She likes reading, nature, and training for her next Spartan race!

Why I do what I do: "From a young age, I always knew that I would be involved with animals in some sort of way. I had a job in high school and college at the Wyoming Game and Fish which solidified that I wanted to become a vet. I like solving cases like Sherlock Holmes, learning new things, the relationships I've built with the pets and their owners over the years."
