I have been interested in veterinary medicine since I was a small child; animals are my passion! I completed two years of psychology and general studies courses at Northampton Community College before transferring to Delaware Valley College. I attended Delaware Valley College for Equine Science, intending to continue on to be an equine veterinarian; I unfortunately had to drop out when my horse fell ill and had to have emergency colic surgery. I plan on returning to Northampton Community College in the fall to complete the Certified Veterinary Technician course. I have about fifteen years of customer service experience; I truly love creating a bond with customers/clients, and giving them the best experience possible! Horses are my biggest passion, but I have unconditional love and respect for all animals. I have a special soft spot for "pitties" (American Pit Bull Terriers)! I was born and raised in Easton, Pennsylvania, and currently live there with my husband, daughter, and my "pittie", Doc! I am a huge Marvel nerd! I especially love Thor (and all of the Avengers), The Punisher, and Dare Devil. I have four tattoos (one is for my first horse, Jet) and I plan on getting a Marvel tattoo. I love sci-fi TV shows and movies as well! I am looking forward to my journey at VCA, and am grateful for the things that I have already learned so far!
