Shawna started with VCA Northside in 2003 as veterinary assistant. Although she became very good at teaching, she was called to service at the front reception area where she has really blossomed. She is an organizational wizard. She also has an uncanny memory of people, pets, and what goes on in this hospital. Shawna lives in the Valley and has a very handsome cat named Sammy.
Why I do what I do: "My love of animals began when I was 3-years-old when I had a long haired guinea pig named Fluffy. I helped my mom take care of him the best I could and ever since then, I knew I always wanted to take care of animals."
