Meet Dr. Wilks, our skilled veterinarian at VCA Peone Pines Animal Hospital since October 2019. Originally from Venice, FL, she earned her Bachelor's in Biology from the University of South Florida. Pursuing her passion for veterinary care, Dr. Wilks completed her studies at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and clinical rotations at Colorado State University.

Passionate about preventative health medicine, Dr. Wilks prioritizes open communication and education with her clients. Her compassionate approach extends beyond the hospital, where she actively engages in indoor soccer, tennis, and runs with her pup.

In addition to her professional dedication, Dr. Wilks recently has embraced personal milestones as a newlywed and proud mother. Her commitment to animal well-being, both professionally and personally, makes her a valued member of our veterinary community.
