Dr. Amy Goulart is proud to be part of the veterinary team at VCA San Martin Animal Hospital. A 2004 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, she began her career in mixed-animal practice in upstate New York. She later gained experience in emergency and shelter medicine in Ohio and taught veterinary technology courses at a local community college.
After settling in California, Dr. Goulart developed special interests in preventive medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. She is passionate about providing thoughtful, high-quality care while helping pets live healthier, happier lives alongside their families.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Goulart enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, exploring nature, and supporting her sons' many interests, including raising praying mantises and jumping spiders. Their family also includes two dogs: Maggie, a Labradoodle, and Georgia, a Boston Terrier.
