Dr. Shiori Echizenya comes to us from Tokyo, Japan. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Waseda University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. She joined VCA San Martin in 2025.
Dr. Shiori has a special passion for hospice and palliative care, as well as pain management, and is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She is also Fear Free Certified and takes extra steps to make visits as stress-free as possible for our patients and their families.
When she is not caring for animals, you'll find her hiking, playing tennis, or relaxing in hot springs. She shares her home with two adorable cats, Marble and Fennel.
