Dr. Chris Tobe graduated from the University of Vermont and earned his veterinary degree from Louisiana State University in 2006. He completed a rotating internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in Rhode Island before spending 12 years practicing in Arizona. Since 2019, he's called Portland home.
Dr. Tobe has nearly two decades of experience in emergency and urgent care medicine, with clinical interests in feline medicine, clinical pathology, the human-animal bond, and Fear Free handling.
Outside of work, he's a skydiving instructor, poker player, and firm believer in making the most of his time on and off the clock. He shares life with his wife, three stepdaughters, and a small zoo: Zoltar (a special-needs dog), Ollie (a refined poodle), Lucy (a curious Cornish Rex), and Sparkle (a diabetic cat named by the youngest member of the family).
