Dr. Emily Gosney (pronounced like "Gauze-on-your-Knee") joined Southeast Portland Animal Hospital as a veterinarian in September 2024, shortly after graduating from Ross University and completing her clinical year at Colorado State University.
A proud Pacific Northwest native, Dr. Gosney grew up in both Gresham, OR and Vancouver, WA, and is thrilled to be serving the community she calls home. She has a strong interest in emergency medicine and thrives in the fast-paced, dynamic environment it offers. She also values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients and their pets.
Dr. Gosney has a soft spot for kittens of all shapes and sizes. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her three cats and her dog, Malibu ("Boo"), catching episodes of Grey's Anatomy, or guiding rafting trips on the Deschutes River during the summer months.
