I joined the VCA University Animal Hospital team as an associate veterinarian in August of 2021. Originally from West Virginia, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina in 2016. I moved to Arizona in 2017 to complete my D.V.M. degree at Midwestern University in Glendale. I fell in love with the desert and the weather and decided to stay. During my clinical training year at Midwestern University, I came to VCA University Animal Hospital and fell in love with the hospital and staff and decided to call this clinic home for practicing small animal primary care.

I understand the importance of effective communication, coming from a hard of hearing (deaf) household and seeing the impact of communication struggles. I am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). My passions within veterinary medicine are to improve my patient's health through dentistry and preventative care. In my free time, you can find me spoiling my three dogs (Addison, Theo and Taco). While I am enjoying living in Arizona, I also miss the beach and snow. My hobbies include skiing, watercolor painting and hiking. I am so excited to join the VCA University Animal Hospital family!
