Dr. Lauren Shepherd is a local to Tustin, CA having grown up in the city. She then left for Northern California where her love for emergency veterinary medicine was founded while working for an emergency office at the same times as obtaining her bachelor degree in microbiology at UC Berkeley. She then acquired her veterinary degree from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, followed by a one year rotating internship at Pet Emergency and Specialty Center in San Diego. Dr. Shepherd has returned to her hometown to settle down.
Dr. Shepherd's interests include shock resuscitation, trauma, and toxicities. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and training her pets to learn new tricks.
