Dr. Emma Rosenbaum earned her veterinary degree from University College Dublin in 2026 after completing her undergraduate degree in biological sciences at Cornell University. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Rosenbaum's lifelong interest in medicine, combined with her love of animals—especially dogs—made veterinary medicine a natural path for her.
Dr. Rosenbaum's professional interests include emergency medicine, surgery, and internal medicine. She is also Fear Free Certified and is passionate about providing compassionate, individualized care while creating a positive experience for both pets and their families. As she begins her veterinary career, she looks forward to continuing to learn and grow in an ever-evolving field while building lasting relationships and trust with her clients.
For Dr. Rosenbaum, one of the most rewarding parts of veterinary medicine is being part of the special bond between people and their pets. She strives to ensure every client feels heard, informed, and confident that they are working together as a team to help their pet stay happy, healthy, and thriving through every stage of life.
At home, Dr. Rosenbaum's best friend is Bentley, her 12-year-old Cockapoo, who has been by her side throughout her entire journey to becoming a veterinarian. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys being outdoors hiking, running, and biking, as well as reading and crafting—especially crocheting and painting. She also played violin for much of her life, and if she could encounter any animal in the wild, her choice would be a killer whale.
Dr. Rosenbaum is excited to call Northern Virginia home and looks forward to caring for the pets and families of the Woodbridge community.
