Team Spotlight
Dr. Peneguy is a New Orleans native. She was born in 1969 and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian four years later when she watched Dr. Pelle deliver a litter of dachshund puppies. She went to St. Pius X Grammar School and Mount Carmel High School. She was the first student to graduate from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Systems on the veterinary school's three-plus-one program. Before going to veterinary school, she went to Orlando, Florida and worked at Walt Disney World for one summer. She graduated from LSU Veterinary School in 1995.
