Dr. Holly Knor moved from South Florida to attend Colorado State University where she received a bachelor's degree in microbiology in and her degree in veterinary medicine. Following veterinary school, she completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital and has been on staff since 1995.

Dr. Knor feels blessed to have been able to pursue a career that she dreamt about since the age of 5! Dr. Knor entered the veterinary field at the age of 14 when she started working for her family’s veterinarian, Dr. LW George, cleaning kennels at West Broward Animal Hospital. She then held several different positions in several animal hospitals as a receptionist and as a veterinary technician before becoming a veterinarian. An unexpected high point of Dr. Knor’s career was being a featured veterinarian on the hit TV series “Emergency Vets” which aired on Animal Planet. She found that the very popular show gave her an incredible opportunity to educate people about veterinary medicine - a subject she feels passionate about!

Dr. Knor loves general practice and has special interests in the areas of veterinary dentistry and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Knor shares her home with her son, their two beloved Carin Terriers (Banks & Sasha), and wildly energetic Phalene, Milo! When given the opportunity, she loves cheering her son on in a lacrosse game and traveling across the country to see her daughter perform on the ballet stage.
