Dr. Emilie Davies was born in the United Kingdom and grew up in Atlanta Georgia. She was an avid equestrian from a young age competing in nationally ranked competitions up and down the east coast. Her love for horses helped spark an interest and passion for veterinary medicine. After earning her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Georgia State University, she went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2018 from St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies. After graduation she relocated to the Virginia Beach area where she practiced at a local small animal hospital. She joined the VCA family in early 2024 after relocating to Colorado with her horse, Casparo, and Jack Russell, Tucker. In her free time, when not spending time with her horse or exploring her new home of Colorado, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and camping with her friends and family.
