Emileigh was born and raised in Salinas, California, where her love for animals began at an early age. Growing up, she was active in FFA, gaining hands-on experience with livestock care and animal husbandry. This foundation, combined with her college background in biology and veterinary science, provided her with both the knowledge and passion to pursue a career in animal care.
She has spent the past two years working as a client service representative, animal care assistant, and groomer at VCA All Pets Salinas, where she supports veterinarians, assists clients, and provides compassionate care for patients. As a groomer, Emileigh has developed skills in gentle handling practices, maintaining patient health and comfort through proper grooming practices, and building trust with both pets and clients alike. These experiences continue to strengthen her path toward becoming a veterinary technician and blending her academic background with practical, hands-on care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her English Springer Spaniel, Tucker, competing in dog events, and exploring the outdoors through camping, hiking, and traveling.
