Yvonne has been our client service supervisor for the past year and a half at VCA All Pets Salinas Animal Hospital. She was promoted from client service lead to her current role in 2024 and first joined our team as a client service representative in 2023.
Yvonne was born and raised in Watsonville, California. Before joining VCA, she worked for an optical lab and an oil company. She is bilingual, has two wonderful sons, Abraham and Alan, and a German shepherd–pit bull terrier mix named Niko.
When she is not at the hospital, Yvonne loves walking her dog, playing board games, barbecuing with her family, going to the beach at sunset, dancing, and spending time with friends. She also loves Harry Potter, playing Lotería, and watching football and baseball (she is a 49ers and Giants fan).
When it comes to her job, Yvonne will tell you her favorite parts are assisting clients and caring for patients needing urgent care. She loves the variety of patients we get to see, but pit bulls will always have a special place in her heart. Yvonne loves being a piece of the puzzle in an important line of work, where keeping patients healthy and comfortable, clients happy and informed, and families together are top priorities.
