Dr. Jill Aschehoug is originally from Michigan and completed her undergraduate studies at both Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Sacramento State, earning a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2002. She then obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from UC Davis in 2008. Dr. Aschehoug joined the VCA Loomis Basin team, where she has developed a strong interest in emergency medicine and is dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for her patients and clients.
Outside of her work at VCA Loomis Basin, Dr. Aschehoug enjoys supporting and cheering for her children in their various sports activities. She shares her home with a lovable assortment of pets: Knut, a Lab with an insatiable appetite; Teddy, an anxious Chihuahua; Princess, a resilient Chihuahua who seems destined to outlive them all; DJ, an orange cat who is the epitome of purrfection; Millie Denise, a clumsy orange cat; and Marvin, an energetic orange cat known for his mischievous antics.
