Dr. Kathryn Mueller, originally from Southern California, earned her bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a focus in Animal Nutrition from UC Davis in 2014, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Midwestern University in 2019. She completed a rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Colorado in 2020, further honing her skills in emergency and general practice.
Professionally, Dr. Mueller is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and their families. As a Fear Free Certified professional, she prioritizes reducing fear, anxiety, and stress in pets during visits, creating a calmer and more positive experience. With a background in emergency medicine and a current focus on mixed general and emergency practice, she brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role at VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic.
Outside of work, Dr. Mueller enjoys wakeboarding, horseback riding, and spending quality time with her family, including her Chihuahua mix, Izzy (Toodle).
