Dr. Brittany Kastens grew up in Orange County, CA and received a bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Cal State Fullerton. After graduation, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from UC Davis. Dr. Kastens' professional interests include emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and nutrition. She is Fear Free certified, which means she has completed extra training in alleviating fear, anxiety, and stress in pets at the vet clinic.
When she is not at work, Dr. Kastens enjoys cooking vegan food, watching true crime documentaries, listening to podcasts, and traveling with her fiancé. She has a Pitbull named Lucky and two cats, Flower and Anastasia.
