Dr. Kerner was born and raised in Los Gatos, California. She received her undergraduate degree in biology and kinesiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Cynthia graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis in 1999. She then went on to complete an internship at Sacramento Veterinary Surgical Services where she remained as an associate until 2005. Cynthia joined the staff at VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic in 2011 and has a special interest in emergency and critical care.
In her free time, Cynthia enjoys spending time with her family and camping. She shares her home with her dog Kona, a border collie/lab mix and her cat Bobcat.
