Dr. Hengameh Kamali, originally from Calabasas, CA, attended UC Davis, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences. After graduation, she took a gap year to travel and spend time with family before starting veterinary school. She returned to UC Davis, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). Dr. Kamali has a professional interest in internal medicine, radiology, emergency medicine, and mixed animal practice. She also has an interest in practice ownership down the road.
Outside of work, she enjoys camping, backpacking, traveling, knitting, houseplants, playing soccer, eating Chipotle, and spending quality time with family and friends. She and her partner, who she met while at UC Davis, have two dogs, Chowder and Olive Oil, and one cat, Blossom.
