Dr. Paulette Razy-Faulkner grew up in Southern California and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. She then moved to Oklahoma, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Razy-Faulkner worked at a sister hospital, VCA American River Animal Hospital, from 1997 to 2015 before joining the team at VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic. Her special interests include dentistry and internal medicine. She believes that pets are an extension of the family, and she loves having the opportunity to offer personal veterinary care for these important pets.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Razy-Faulkner enjoys bird watching, hiking, and camping. She resides in Orangevale, CA, with her husband, two human children, and her beloved canine, Fliolyse, a Bull Terrier mix who was rescued after suffering burns, along with her three domestic short hair cats: Jinxy, Hobbes, and Remus.
