Dr. Monica Muriello, originally from La Crescenta, California, earned her bachelor's degree in Animal Science from UC Irvine and Cal Poly Pomona in 2010. She then pursued her passion for veterinary medicine at UC Davis, graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2014. Dr. Muriello completed a rotating internship at VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic in 2015, further solidifying her expertise in general practice.
Professionally, Dr. Muriello has a special interest in dermatology and general practice, dedicating herself to providing compassionate and comprehensive care for her patients. Her commitment to excellence ensures that every pet receives the highest standard of treatment.
Outside of work, Dr. Muriello enjoys quality family time, outdoor adventures including camping and trips to Lake Tahoe, and walking her three canine companions: Reese the Goldendoodle, Henry the Terrier Mix (complete with his signature mohawk), and Inky the Chihuahua. In her spare time, she stays active in her community as both a Girl Scout troop leader and classroom volunteer, and enjoys creative pursuits like quilling.
