Dr. Jenna Ogden is a born-and-raised Sacramento area native. She went to college at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, and then traveled to Royal Veterinary College in London, England, where she received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. While she enjoyed immersing herself abroad during her education, she was excited to return close to home for a small animal rotating internship at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center and later join us at VCA Mueller as an associate veterinarian. Dr. Jenna Ogden is passionate about emergency medicine and emergency surgery. She loves the fast pace of the emergency room and the opportunity to provide care and compassion during some of the most critical moments in her patients and clients lives.
Outside the hospital, you can find Dr. Ogden enjoying the outdoors with her Golden Retriever, Brea. Their favorite activities to do together include hiking, swimming, walking, and watching wildlife from the back porch in the morning. She also loves cooking, playing soccer, and spending time with her family, especially her grandma!
