Dr. Rebecca Harris originates from Australia and grew up in Zimbabwe. She attended James Cook University earning her Bachelor's degree in Zoology and then obtained her Master's degree in Chemical Animal Ecology from Lund University in Sweden. Dr. Harris went on to attend Ross University receiving her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Dr. Harris's veterinary interests are in cardiology, surgery and critical care. She loves her patients and treats them as if they were her own. Additionally, she loves to see the joy on owners faces when their fur babies are able to return home after being in the hospital. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, volleyball, soccer as well as spending time with her two cats, Buddy and Tuxedo, and her big dog, Charlie.
