Dr. Kahn was born in California and moved to Maine at the age of six. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in animal science from University of California, Davis, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island. Dr. Kahn has practiced just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, Memphis, Tennessee, Northern Michigan, and Yuba City in California before joining VCA Mueller. 

She moved back to Northern California with her husband, Tom, after his retirement from the United States Coast Guard to be closer to her extended family. In her time off, she enjoys gardening, horseback riding, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Kahn and her husband share their home with their dogs and cats.  

Dr. Kahn loves emergency medicine because she never knows what she will get to see next. She particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery and critical care cases.
