Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Dr. D'Amico attended veterinary school in the Caribbean at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she became an avid scuba diver. She completed her clinical training at the University of Wisconsin where the neurology specialty fist piqued her interest. Following that, she pursued a rotating internship at the University of Tennessee and then matched for a residency in neurology and neurosurgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York.
Dr. D'Amico is excited to be back on the West Coast and has always wanted to live in the PNW! Her professional interests include neurosurgery, especially neuro-oncology, as well as seizures and infectious/inflammatory brain diseases. In her spare time, she hangs out with her two cats, Biscuit and Mars, and is getting back into outdoor activities like hiking, going to the beach and biking around the city (especially to find new restaurants!).
