Originally from Calgary, Alberta, and attended veterinary school in the Caribbean at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where I became an avid scuba diver. Completed my clinical training at the University of Wisconsin where the neurology specialty fist piqued my interest. Following that, I pursued a rotating internship at the University of Tennessee and then matched for a residency in neurology and neurosurgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York. I am excited to be back on the West Coast and have always wanted to live in the PNW! Professional interests include neurosurgery, especially neuro-oncology, as well as seizures and infectious/inflammatory brain diseases. In my spare time, I hang out with my 2 cats, Biscuit and Mars, and am getting back into outdoor activities like hiking, going to the beach and biking around the city (especially to find new restaurants!).
