Jodie Anderson is originally from Columbus, Ohio. She attended Cornell University and received an undergraduate degree, majoring in Animal Science. Dr. Anderson was accepted into the College of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in 2009. During veterinary school, Dr. Anderson developed an interest in Internal Medicine, fostered Great Danes, and organized class events as a Social Chair. Following graduation in 2013, Dr. Anderson moved to New York City for her rotating internship with BluePearl Veterinary Partners. She went on to complete a specialty internship in internal medicine at Coral Springs Animal Hospital in South Florida from 2014-15, after which she was accepted into the small animal internal medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Anderson has recently moved to Portland following her residency to join the Internal Medicine service at VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists. Her medical interests include endocrine disorders and nephrology. In her spare time, Jodie enjoys cooking, sewing, traveling, and exploring local breweries and restaurants. Joining her in Portland is her cat, Angel, whom she rescued in Florida.
