Caitlyn was originally born in Branford, Connecticut, currently lives in Mathis, Texas been in Texas for eight years going on nine years. Her hobbies are anything that involves animals from doing doggy spa day with her dog to horseback riding with her horses. She loves anything outside from camping, to kayaking to going fishing.
She personally owns a 4-year-old male mutt named Koda and a 4-year-old mare Quarter horse named Amara. However, she lives with four other dogs, two Great Danes, Hershel and Maggie, and two small mutts, Sophie and Bailey. Also, a 20-year-old Gelding quarter horse named Sunny and a 7-year-old mare quarter horse named Reba. Last but not least, a blue and gold macaw named Bella.
What she loves most about her job is that she gets to help the voiceless and most loving creatures. Animals love unconditionally without words and are in pain without help but she gets to be the help that makes them better. Every day she gets to work with her passion which is animals and a huge sense of accomplishment from helping them from emergencies to routine vaccinations. She is interested in all aspects of this field; she loves the fact that she's constantly learning and growing as a veterinary technician. Emergency and surgery are something she is highly interested in at the moment as this is a new aspect of the job she would love to learn more about. She also loves that in this job she doesn't just have one type of patient, she works with all different kinds of species and breeds; the change of patients keeps you on your toes and has you constantly learning.
