Dr. Michelle Patrick grew up in a small coal mining town in Northeastern Pennsylvania and attended Susquehanna University, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. From there she completed a one year internship at Veterinary Specialists of South Florida, followed by a 3-year residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Washington State University. Since completing her residency in 2010, Dr. Patrick has led the Internal Medicine Service at Southwest Florida Veterinary Specialists. In her free time, Dr. Patrick has volunteered with the Junior League of Fort Myers, was the treasurer of the Collier County Veterinary Society, and was an advisor for the Eta Tau chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority at Florida Gulf Coast University. She and her husband Jamie decided to relocate to the east coast of Florida in January 2017 with their beloved fur and feather babies — dogs Leroy, and Lulu; their cats Simon, Theodore, Fozzie Bear, Eli, and Coco; and their birds Toby and Skittles.
