Hello, my name is Kmyrie. I am a veterinary assistant at VCA A Plus Animal Hospital and am new to the veterinary field. I am from Sacramento, CA, and moved to Reno in 2019. I joined the veterinary field because I find veterinary medicine interesting and the people I have met that work in veterinary medicine have inspired me. Every animal deserves to be loved and cared for, so I want to contribute to that. My inspiration is to open my own art studio/shop and become a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). I have 3 animals—a 2 year old calico named Magnolia, who is very playful, clumsy, and has orange cat energy/personality traits. My other cat is Bobby, who I found as a stray, as her previous owners did not want her anymore. She loves a good pet and will talk back to you. I also have a dog named Rukia, who is 7 months old and loves her tennis ball. Rukia is a very sweet puppy and always gives kisses. In my free time, I binge a lot of movies and practice guitar.
