Lea Ann McCaslin
General Practice Manager
Lea Ann McCaslin is a mid-westerner who wanted to move to Colorado most of her life and finally made the trek to the mountains several years ago. She has over twelve years of experience in animal welfare management and in supporting veterinary teams.

Lea Ann switched from a retail career when she volunteered with the Dumb Friends League for several years, then worked for the DFL as the manager of the Buddy Center in Castle Rock. One of the things she liked about animal welfare was spending time with the veterinary team. This interest led her on to practice management jobs with Banfield, a local private clinic, and most recently to opening a brand new veterinary hospital for a Denver-based company.

Her dog, Doc, was adopted from the Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies. Continuing to support rescues and shelters is a passion of Lea Ann's…her current puppy, Ben, was adopted in May this year from Big Bones Canine Rescue. She volunteers for Big Dogs Huge Paws in her spare time. She's completed certification as a Fear Free administrator and just finished becoming certified in veterinary CPR through the Recover Initiative.

Her other interests include attempting to play the fiddle, training Ben, listening to live music, keeping in touch with her niece, nephew, and new great-nephew and working on projects at her 100-year-old house in Englewood.
